The AmazinGrace - August 24, 2019
What is it? The AmazinGrace is.. think Poker Run meets the Amazing Race! At the start you will be provided clues to guide your team to 5 different stops. Each location will provide a chance to compete in challenges to earn tickets which will be entered into the drawing at the end for a chance to win prizes!
Do I need a bike to participate? If you have them, ride them. If you have a hot rod, you can use that too. You can use your truck or the family mini-van if you want. This event will be fun for all and is for the whole family.
When is it? It will be held August 24 beginning at 11:00 in the morning at the Center of Hope, 225 E 11th Street in the parking lot on the south side of the Sioux Falls Ministry Center.
What does it involve? Beginning from the parking lot at the Center of Hope you and any passengers on your motorcycle or in your car will receive 5 clues. The clues will lead you to a stop on the route. You do not need to do the stops in order, but there will be one marked as the last stop.
At each stop there will be a challenge to be completed in 1 minute. Each challenge presents another opportunity to win prizes at the end of the event. If you don't complete the challenge the first time, you can purchase more opportunities or get credit for completing that challenge by "buying your way out." The more challenges you complete the better your chances to win.
After the challenge at each stop you will go back to your clues to figure out where the next stop is and proceed to that stop. At each stop you will receive a stamp to show you made it to that stop. If you have all the stamps this puts you in a drawing for a special prize.
There will be one clue designated the last stop. We will all gather there for the drawing of prizes. You must be present to win at 4pm.
What does it cost? It costs $15 for the driver and $10 for each passenger if you pre-register and $20 for the driver and $10 for each passenger if you register the day of the event.
How do I register? 1) You can register by clicking the register button to the right, or 2) you can register the day of the event from 11:00am to 12;30pm.
Will there be food? There will be water available for purchase at each stop and food at the end of the route.
