Our future is up to God! When that is our practice, and not just our principle, ministry goes well. We are not perfect at leaving the future in God's hands, but we’re trying. God is blessing us for our trying. Into the future, we first want to be increasingly effective in our present programs, while we seek to grow them. For us, an effective program is 1) empowering and dignifying for people, and 2) it encourages people to personally know God, the ultimate Difference Maker.

We believe God’s will for our future, in part, is to share a Ministry Center with a few other outreach ministries which complement our services.

A ministry center would 1) allow for more holistic outreach to our guests, and 2) allow the partnering non-profit ministries to share in facility costs. The Sioux Falls Ministry Center has a Board of Directors, and it soon will be an independent non-profit organization. Locations are presently being considered. The Center of Hope will be included in The Sioux Falls Ministry Center. Other possible ministries may possibly include an outreach daycare, an immigrant/refugee ministry, financial counseling, and/or a mentoring ministry. The exact details are not complete yet, but we are excited to be considering these and other possibilities.
