Operating Costs

Center of Hope’s operating costs for 2009 are $195,000. We need you! All of our support comes from individuals and churches that are connected with us.  All donations are tax deductible.  We seek to be responsible with our funds, but also rely on faith that God will meet our needs.  Our 2009 budget is a larger than last year to expand some of our programs, staffing, and the future ministry center.  Included in these operating costs are:

· Gospel tracts ($40 a month)

· Newsletter ($120 a month) - 700 newsletters every 6 weeks

· Operating and Maintenance Cost of our 15 Passenger Van ($120 a month)

· Phone, Fax, and High Speed Internet for Care Center ($200 a month)

· Refreshments for Care Center ($200 a month)

· Building Maintenance – Custodial Service, Lawn, Snow, etc. ($450 a month)

· Utilities ($600 a month, non-winter)

· Rent ($1,500 a month) - 6,600 square foot building

· Wages for Staff

· Funds for Programming

· Gifts for our Capital Campaign

Capital Campaign

Center of Hope is hoping to expand its ministry by purchasing or building a more centrally located facility in Sioux Falls.  The vision is to have a facility that will also accommodate 3 or 4 other non-profit, Gospel-bearing outreach ministries that compliment Center of Hope.  This vision also would help reduce the operational costs of all ministries by sharing a building.

The purpose of the Capital Campaign is also to help expand the staff and programs of the Center of Hope to keep up with the growth that the Center of Hope continues to experience.
